Olen T. Reynolds, 67 of Burleson, TX passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church in Thornton at 3:00 pm on Sunday April 6, 2014. Olen was born June 19, 1946 in Thornton, TX. He was a retired industrial engineer in the Aerospace Division of Voight Industries. Olen was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin. This gentle giant will be greatly missed by his family and friends both in Burleson and Thornton. He is preceded in death by his father R.J. Reynolds, his mother Era Mae (Scroggins) Reynolds, his sister Della Faye Courtney and nephews James Anthony and Charles Wayne. Olen is survived by his wife Sandra; daughter Dena Deason both of Burleson, daughter Dana and husband Danny Lewis of Thornton, granddaughter Stormie Bass of Burleson, grandson Jared Davis of Lillian, brother Kenneth Reynolds and wife Karen of Pfl ugerville, sister Elizabeth Neason and husband Bill of Thornton, and sister Kathy Davenport and husband Larry of Elgin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Sharon Gonzalez, Lisa Smith, Melissa Hewitt, Kendra Towery, Keith Reynolds, Chance Davenport and James McNutt. He also was survived by many grand nieces and nephews.
