Obituary
Funeral services for Lynn Lavon Grafton Scroggins, age 53, of Bastrop were Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Pisgah Baptist Church in Bernice with Bro. Jeff Hurst officiating and Robert Grafton, Lynn's cousin providing the musical prelude. Burial followed in Pisgah Baptist Church's cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Lynn Scroggins went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 4, 2014 following a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her father Teddy Lavon Grafton [36021] of Bernice. Lynn was born March 28, 1961 in Homer to Teddy and Connie Elmore Grafton. She graduated Bernice High school in 1980 and later married Charles Michael Scroggins on July 17, 1999. Lynn worked in various departments of Wal-Mart for 27 years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 15 years, Charles Michael Scroggins and his mother Ruth Scroggins Wright; her mother Constance 'Connie' Grafton; sisters: Penny Foster and her husband Jeff; Donna Walton and her husband Toney; Polly Staggs and her husband Daryl and her brother Terry Wayne Grafton. Lynn also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a multitude of other family members and friends that will miss her infectious smile and sparkling eyes.
Lynn loved her family and her many nieces and nephews and loved capturing them in photos. She also loved singing and spent many years singing in the church choir with her dad.
