Mrs. Barbara Kay Scroggins Boggs [46447:D, fb], age 60, of Madison, Indiana, Barbara entered this life on November 8, 1955 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late, Harold Jake and Mary Gladys Fredenburgh Scroggins. She lived all of her life in the Jefferson County community and attended Madison Consolidated High School. She attended Smyrna Monroe Presbyterian Church near Madison. On February 17, 1973 Barbara was united in marriage to Terry Alan Boggs. This happy union of 43 years was blessed with a son Gregory Alan and a daughter Tammara Marie. She was first employed in housekeeping at the Hillside Inn. Barbara then worked for 17 years at Tower Manufacturing in downtown Madison. She then worked for Reliance Electric in the winding department for 15 years. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and mammaw. She enjoyed collecting "Mickey Mouse" memorabilia, yard sales, fishing, walking, the outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara was the rock of her family and the glue that held it together. Barbara died on Monday, March 28, 2016, at 6:20 a.m. at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Barbara will be missed by her loving husband of 43 years, Terry Alan Boggs of Madison, Indiana; her loving son, Gregory Alan Boggs and his companion, Lisa Nichole Darr of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughter, Tammara Marie Boggs Byrd and her husband, Mindel Joe of Madison, Indiana; her adoring grandsons, Mindel Alan and Mitchell Joseph Byrd; her brothers, Jerry Scroggins and his companion, Judy Bibby of Lacey's Spring, Alabama, Robert "Bob" Scroggins and his wife, Ruth of Madison, Indiana; her sister, Phyllis Logsdon and her husband, Donald of Scottsville, Kentucky; her mother in law, Martha Cleo Boggs of Madison, Indiana; her brother in law, Ronald D. Boggs of Madison, Indiana; her sisters in laws, Pat Scroggins of Huntsville, Alabama, Mary Evelyn Fredenburgh of Maineville, Ohio, Angela Scroggins of Fort Worth, Texas, Pam Scroggins of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Jake and Mary Gladys Fredenburgh Scroggins, her father in law, Norman William Boggs, her sister, Carolyn Akers [54511:D], her brothers, Charles Denver Scroggins, Harold Raymond Scroggins, James Scroggins, Roger David Scroggins, Ike Leroy Scroggins, George A. Scroggins and Donald Fredenburgh.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 1, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Gary Pardue at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Bayless Cemetery in Madison, Indiana

VISITATION
Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of King's Daughters' Hospital. Cards are available at the funeral home.
